DATA AND SERVICES. The Data and Services section defines the data being shared, the methods of exchange, and the services to exchange, store, and analyze the data. • Data – Define the specific data elements, labels, and tags of other labels or formats. DATA AND SERVICES. Subject to the terms and conditions of the Agreement, (a) Provider will embed the Companies cookie, consisting of a url or data file provided by Company, into email messages sent by Provider to Provider’s consumer database, via placement in display advertisements or on landing pages or via any other mutually acceptable method of cookie placement. (b) Provider will transmit the consumer’s hashed email address associated with the cookie to Company in a mutually agreed upon hashing format along with the Data (the “Unique Email Hash, cookie ID, time stamp, IP address, user agent, url string and refering url”). The pixel fire will associate the hashed email to the Company cookie ID and both are transmitted back by Provider to Company for monetization. Company may then license the combination of the Unique Email Hash and Company’s Data to its third-party clients so that those third parties may match the Unique Email Hash against their own databases and use the Data to send re-targeting emails and other online advertisements. Provider acknowledges and agrees that all right, title and interest in and to the combination of Unique Email Hash and Data belongs solely to Company and Company may license, sublicense or create derivative works of the Unique Email Hash and Data. (c) Company will use commercially reasonable efforts to make reporting available on a monthly basis detailing the number of hashed emails tied to the Company cookie ID.
DATA AND SERVICES. 6.1. Device Data. The Mist APs enable Customer to transfer to the Mist Dashboard information about devices that connect to the Mist APs. This information may include, but is not limited to, device name, device type, operating system, MAC address, IP address, username, and signal strength of Mist APs (“Device Data”). In addition, if a customer has purchased location enabled services, Mist will process a device’s geolocation information. Mist processes and stores this information in order to: 6.1.1. provide the Mist Dashboard services so that Customer can monitor the use and performance of the Mist APs, and exercise control over the traffic on, a Customer’s network; 6.1.2. perform product testing and product development; 6.1.3. prepare industry reporting and analysis of usage for informational and educational purposes; 6.1.4. protect Mist’s rights or enforce the terms of this Agreement, to the extent necessary, in any dispute with Customer;
DATA AND SERVICES. Data services—sometimes described as Data-as-a-Service (DAAS)—generally refer to independent functions that enhance, organize, share, or calculate information collected and saved in data storage volumes. A. Data – specific data elements may include [labels, tags of other labels or formats including numbers, characters, time, and/or boolean]. B. Exchange – the method used to transport or allow access to individual systems to permit the sharing of the data will be [data encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and/or military-grade encryption; an email when receiver opens their file; will not require special software to install; may use a web browser such as Chrome, Internet Explorer or Firefox; ensure ability to bypass firewall and email attachment restrictions that often prevent sending or receiving files; and/or will exclude third-party storage providers. If physically sending data by mail or parcel carrier, the data should be encrypted using an encryption method, such as Pretty Good Privacy (PGP), which allows encryption of the data to a C.
