Cycle Time. Cycle Time. The term “cycle time” refers to the recording of hours to account for scheduled deviation in the length of watches due to a vessel’s operational schedule. Cycle Time. It is understood that all Firefighters and Lieutenants assigned to the rotation schedule, as defined in the article Working Schedule, work an average of forty two (42) hours per week. Addtionally, it is understood that each employee's pay is based on a forty (40) hour work week.
