Cut Clause Samples

The "Cut" clause defines the right or process by which a party can reduce, limit, or terminate certain obligations or entitlements under an agreement. In practice, this clause may allow a party to decrease the quantity of goods to be delivered, shorten the duration of a service, or otherwise scale back commitments, often subject to notice requirements or specific conditions. Its core function is to provide flexibility and risk management, enabling parties to adjust their obligations in response to changing circumstances or needs.
Cut. An absence of less than one (1) hour at the end of the work shift. This event is counted as one half (½) on an instance.
