Customer’s Own Material Sample Clauses

The 'Customer’s Own Material' clause defines the terms under which materials, content, or resources provided by the customer are used within the scope of an agreement. Typically, this clause clarifies the customer's responsibility for ensuring that any supplied materials are suitable, free from third-party rights infringements, and delivered in the required format and timeframe. For example, if a customer provides images or data to be incorporated into a project, this clause would specify that the customer must have the rights to use those materials and that the provider is not liable for issues arising from them. Its core function is to allocate responsibility and risk regarding customer-supplied materials, ensuring both parties understand their obligations and liabilities.
