Common use of Customer Retention Clause in Contracts

Customer Retention. To the extent permitted by law or applicable regulation, Parent and Seller shall use reasonable efforts to assist Buyer in its efforts to retain Seller's customers. Such efforts may include making introductions of Buyer's employees to such customers, assisting in the mailing of information prepared by Buyer and reasonably acceptable to Parent and Seller, to such customers and actively participating in any "transitional marketing programs as the parties may agree upon.
