Common use of Custodian Breaks Clause in Contracts

Custodian Breaks. Lead custodians and custodians will have a half hour unpaid lunch period during which they will not be required or expected to work, except in emergencies. If a lead custodian or custodian is required to work through one or both of their two 15-minute paid breaks, they shall receive compensatory duty-free break time. If a Lead Custodian or Custodian is required to work through his/her lunch, she/he shall be paid for the time worked at their regular rate of pay.
