Crown Lifting Sample Clauses
The Crown Lifting clause defines the process and conditions under which the lower branches of a tree may be removed to increase the clearance between the ground and the tree's canopy. Typically, this clause specifies the minimum height to which branches can be pruned and may outline safety or environmental considerations, such as avoiding damage to the tree or disturbance to wildlife. Its core function is to ensure safe passage for pedestrians, vehicles, or equipment beneath trees while maintaining the health and structural integrity of the tree.

The Contractor will remove complete limbs and/or small branches as appropriate to increase the clearance between ground level and the lower branches, maintaining a balanced well-shaped crown, conducive to the future growth and development of the tree, in keeping with the species and varieties concerned.
