Cross Section Elements. 38 The standard cross slope for all types of paved surfaces shall be 0.02 ft/ft. The entire width of 39 each roadway shall have a uniform cross slope. The cross slope of the shoulder must match the 40 cross slope of the adjacent lane, except at ramp gores. 1 Mainline and ramp shoulder wedges must be 6:1 or flatter and a minimum of 10 feet from edge 2 of shoulder to the slope hinge as depicted in Figure 303.1 of the ADOT Roadway Design
