Common use of Credit Report Clause in Contracts

Credit Report. Pursuant to Civil Code, Section 1785.26, you are hereby notified that a negative credit report reflecting on your credit history may be submitted to a credit reporting agency if you fail to fulfill the terms of your credit obligation. Resident expressly authorizes Landlord to obtain Resident’s consumer credit report, which Landlord may use if attempting to collect past due rent payments, late fees, or other charges both during the term of the agreement and thereafter.
