Common use of Covered Area Clause in Contracts

Covered Area. All eligible, nonfederal lands in the State of Kansas, for all eligible nonfederal landowners, who wish to participate in the SHA/CCAA Agreement. Eligible Lands – Nonfederal lands within the current or historical distribution of a covered species, as identified in maps in Appendix A. nonfederal entities in exchange for actions achieving a net conservation benefit to covered species. Existing conditions – Describes the population levels and a detailed description (qualitative and quantitative) of the existing habitat characteristics for the covered species on the covered property at the time of enrollment. This term applies only to the Candidate Conservation Agreement with Assurances portion of this joint SHA/CCAA Agreement. See also Baseline conditions. Incidental take – See Take.
