Coverage Cancellation. Each insurance policy required herein shall be endorsed to state that “coverage shall not be reduced or canceled without 30 days’ prior written notice certain to the County.” Acceptability of Insurers Contractor’s insurance shall be placed with an insurance carrier holding a current A.M. Best & Company’s rating of not less than A:VII unless otherwise acceptable to the County. The County reserves the right to require rating verification. Contractor shall ensure that the insurance carrier shall be authorized to transact business in the State of California.
