Common use of Course Usage Clause in Contracts

Course Usage. The University recognizes two categories of distance learning courses: i. Proprietary Courses – developed by the faculty member without compensation and taught only by the same faculty member; when this faculty member leaves the university or is otherwise no longer able to teach this course, and the University desires to have the course taught, the faculty member will receive a one-time payment of $500.
