Common use of Counterpart Support Clause in Contracts

Counterpart Support. The Borrower shall cause the State to provide all counterpart funds, land and facilities required for timely and effective implementation of the Project, including, without limitation, any funds required (a) to meet any shortfall between cost and revenues for the operation and maintenance of the facilities created or rehabilitated under the Project, (b) to mitigate unforeseen environmental and social impacts, and (c) to meet additional costs arising from design changes, price escalation in construction costs and/or unforeseen circumstances. The Borrower shall cause the State to make the resources thus required available on an annual basis for each fiscal year.
