Cost-Reimbursement Task Orders. Cost reimbursement contracts are defined under FAR Subpart 16.3 and other applicable agency-specific regulatory supplements. FAR Parts 30 and 31 may apply to cost-reimbursement task orders. To be considered for cost reimbursement task order awards, the Contractor shall have and maintain an adequate accounting system that will permit timely development of all necessary cost data in the form required by the proposed contract type. The Contractor may be required to submit a cost proposal with supporting information for each cost element, including, but not limited to, direct labor, fringe benefits, overhead, general and administrative (G&A) expenses, facilities capital cost of money, other direct costs, and fee consistent with its cost accounting system, provisional billing rates, and/or forward pricing rate agreements. Cost reimbursement task orders shall only be used for the acquisition of non-commercial items.
