COST-REDUCTION DEVELOPMENTS. The Parties acknowledge and agree that the retail price of the Terminals is fundamental to market acceptance thereof and key to the Parties' mutual profitability hereunder. To that end, Contractor will identify, develop and produce specific Terminal cost reduction techniques, technologies and methods that may be used across * * * Terminals to reduce the wholesale cost of the Terminals (each such technique, technology or method, a "Cost-Reduction Development"). As set forth in Section 15.2 below, AIL will pay to Contractor NRE Payments upon Contractor's achievement of various Milestones, including delivery of the Cost-Reduction Developments identified in the Milestone and Payment Schedule. AIL shall have full visibility and approval rights over payments made in respect of Cost-Reduction Developments.
