Corrective Action Report. Where Seller is requested to submit a corrective action report, Seller will submit its response within * of receipt of such request unless an extension is otherwise provided by Boeing. Any corrective action report submitted to Boeing shall be in the format specified by Boeing. If after submittal to Boeing, Seller determines need for revision, Seller shall immediately notify Boeing of such revision In the event Seller is unable to respond within the allotted ten day time frame, Seller shall submit a request for extension which shall include the reason for the extension request and the time need to complete the corrective action report.
Corrective Action Report. Supplier shall provide upon specific request a Corrective Action Report detailing the required steps to prevent future recurrence of the same failure. This request must be received prior to receipt of the defective unit from Lam. ▇▇is report is due within ten working days after issuance of the final Root Cause/Failure Analysis report. Lam ▇▇▇erves the right to approve the permanent corrective action steps prior to implementation.
Corrective Action Report. A Corrective Action Report (CAR) is a formal notification sent to the supplier for rectifications to be done on a nonconforming item, process, or service. Failure to address three (3) consecutive Corrective Action Requests will lead to additional holdback. Common trends in missed completion of acceptance criteria may lead to corrective action. Suppliers respond to a CAR to report the root cause of a nonconformity and the applied corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Refer to Appendix A for a template of the CAR.
