Corrections after Occupancy Sample Clauses

The "Corrections after Occupancy" clause defines the contractor's responsibility to address and fix any defects or incomplete work identified after the owner has taken possession of the property. Typically, this clause sets a specific period—often called a warranty or correction period—during which the contractor must return to remedy issues such as faulty installations, unfinished details, or items not meeting contract specifications. Its core function is to ensure that the owner receives a fully functional and compliant property, providing a mechanism for resolving post-occupancy issues without additional cost or dispute.
