Conversion Programming Clause Samples

The Conversion Programming clause defines the procedures and requirements for converting data, systems, or processes from one format or platform to another during a project or contractual engagement. Typically, this clause outlines the responsibilities of each party in planning, executing, and verifying the successful conversion, including timelines, technical standards, and acceptance criteria. Its core practical function is to ensure a smooth and reliable transition between systems, minimizing disruptions and clarifying accountability for any issues that arise during the conversion process.
Conversion Programming. To facilitate the conversion of the Directory Content to the Internet Format, YPS will develop one or more software conversion programs (“Conversion Utilities”) and/or modify the software programs utilized by the Directory Infrastructure Systems to permit the conversion of data from the format used by Publisher’s publishing systems to the Internet Format. This conversion of the Directory Content, including the Conversion Utilities, shall conform to the standards, and be completed within the time deadlines, specified in the Directory Conversion Schedule. Upon timely and satisfactory completion of the Conversion Utilities, YPS shall be entitled to ▇▇▇▇ Publisher for the one-time Initial Conversion Set-up Fee specified in the Project Compensation Schedule attached to this Agreement as Exhibit G.
