Scope of the Convention Article 1
Educational Leave Leave without pay may be granted for educational leave for the duration of actual attendance in an educational program.
Professional Leave Professional leave without pay will be granted to full-time and regular part- time employees who are elected to or appointed to the College of Nurses or the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario or the Registered Practical Nurses’ Association of Ontario to attend regularly scheduled meetings of the College of Nurses or the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario or the Registered Practical Nurses’ Association of Ontario subject to the following limitations:
Blood Donor Leave Employees may be granted reasonable paid time off for the purpose of donating blood when participating in a City-authorized and/or sponsored blood donation drive or special need. No employee shall be eligible for overtime as a result of donating blood. All such absences shall be scheduled with the employee’s supervisor.
APARTMENT OWNERSHIP ACT The Promoter has assured the Allottees that the project in its entirety is in accordance with the provisions of the West Bengal Apartment Ownership Act, 1972. The Promoter showing compliance of various laws/regulations as applicable in the State of West Bengal.
Union Conventions The chapter chairperson or his/her representative elected to attend a function of the International Union such as convention, or educational conferences, upon proper application, shall be allowed a total of five (5) days per year time off without loss of time or pay to attend such conference and/or conventions.
INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT 1. Profits derived by an enterprise of a Contracting State from the operation of ships or aircraft in international traffic shall be taxable only in that State.
Intermittent Leave If medically necessary due to the serious medical condition of the employee, or that of the employee's spouse, child, parent, registered domestic partner within the meaning of Minneapolis Code of Ordinances Chapter 142, or other dependents and/or members of their households who have a serious medical condition, leave may be taken on an intermittent schedule. In cases of the birth, adoption or xxxxxx placement of a child, family and medical leave may be taken intermittently only when expressly approved by the Employer.
Childrearing Leave If requested by the bargaining unit member, the Board will grant a leave of absence, without pay, for the purpose of rearing a newly-born child or a newly adopted child whose age is one (1) year or less at the time of the commencement of the leave of absence.
Funeral Leave Section 30.1 In the event of the death of a parent, spouse, child, sister, brother, mother-in- law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparent of the Employee or spouse, grandchild of the Employee, or “xxxxxx” or “step” situations within these relationships, the Employee shall be allowed a leave of absence with pay of two (2) consecutive (eight or ten hour) workdays.
