XXIII DISLOCATED WORKERS CONSULTANT has committed to hire (_) CareerSource participants residing in Orange County, Florida. Therefore, within five (5) days after contract award, CONSULTANT shall contact the Orange County Business Development Liaison at (000) 000-0000 to assist with meeting this requirement. The BDD Liaison will work with the CareerSource staff and the Consultant to ensure that the process is properly adhered until all requirements have been met. CareerSource participants may be employed in any position within the firm but must be hired on a full-time basis. The failure of the CONSULTANT to comply with these hiring commitments after contract award shall be grounds for termination of the contract for default. During performance of the contract, the CONSULTANT will take appropriate steps to ensure that individual hired under this program are retained. However, if it becomes necessary to replace an employee, the CONSULTANT shall contact the BDD Liaison. At its discretion, COUNTY may periodically request submission of certified payrolls to confirm the employment status of program participants.
