Common use of Controller Scheduling Clause in Contracts

Controller Scheduling. A. A qualified person shall be completely responsible for operating the irrigation systems, with the duties of adjusting controllers, observing the effectiveness of the irrigation system, and making minor adjustments to the system. The City currently utilizes a combination of Motorola Central Control, Rainbird and Irritrol controllers. B. City staff shall reserve the right to request modifications to the irrigation schedule to accommodate City requirements and/or events. Requests will be submitted to the contractor either orally or in written format. All requests shall be carried out in a timely manner. C. Irrigation programs shall comply with the State of California Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance. See Exhibit A-3. D. Water should not be applied at a rate higher than the infiltration rate of the soil.
