Common use of CONTRIBUTIONS OWNED BY EMPLOYER Clause in Contracts

CONTRIBUTIONS OWNED BY EMPLOYER. If the Contribution was written by the Contributor in the course of the Contributor's employment as a "work-made-for-hire" and the employer owns the copyright in the Contribution, then the employer company/institution agrees to the terms of use set forth in paragraph A above and must execute this Agreement (in addition to the Contributor) in the space provided below. In such case, the company/institution hereby grants to the Owner, during the full term of copyright, an exclusive license of all rights of copyright in and to the Contribution throughout the world for commercial purposes as specified in paragraph C above.
