Contractual Relationship. The relationship of Contractor to Seattle by reason of this Contract shall be that of an independent contractor. This Contract does not authorize Contractor to act as the agent or legal representative of Seattle for any purpose whatsoever. Contractor is not granted any express or implied right or authority to assume or create any obligation or responsibility on behalf of or in the name of Seattle or to bind Seattle in any manner or thing whatsoever.
