Common use of Contractors Note Clause in Contracts

Contractors Note. The conditions and specifications set out in the Bid are inseparable and indivisible. Any contractor, by submitting a Bid, agrees to be bound by all such conditions or specifications. All conditions and specifications in the Bid and all other documents required to be submitted, shall be returned by the contractor in his/her Bid package. Failure to do so or any attempt to vary or change the conditions or specifications of the Bid shall, at the discretion of the City, constitute grounds for rejection of the entire Bid. The City will not accept any added stipulation by the vendor. The contractor(s) shall be considered an independent contractor and not an employee of the City. However, directions as to time and place of performance and compliance with the rules and regulations may be required by the Requesting Department.
