Common use of Contract Enforceability Clause in Contracts

Contract Enforceability. After the execution of a contract between a certificated employee and the Board, neither the Board nor the employee can fail to observe its terms without mutual consent. If the employee breaks the contract without the Board’s consent, the Board may recommend forfeiture of the teacher's’ tenure rights as authorized by the Michigan Teacher’s Tenure Act.
