Contract Day. 1. All certificated employees may be assigned appropriate starting and dismissal times, providing their total regular workday will be no longer than eight (8) hours including a continuous thirty (30) minute duty-free lunch period. Starting and dismissal times for assignments other than a full workday will be mutually agreed upon by the employee and the District.
Contract Day. 3. The regular workday for certificated employees shall commence thirty (30) minutes before the scheduled student starting time and end thirty (30) minutes after the scheduled student dismissal time. This schedule may be altered by mutual agreement of the District and the employee or employees involved provided that the workweek is in compliance with state law. Any variation must be for a specific time period and will revert to the regular workday unless the variation is continued or modified by mutual agreement.
Contract Day. 1. The length of the contract day for licensed professionals of the Cooperative will be determined by the policies of the district where the licensed professional is assigned. The length of the day for itinerant licensed professionals may vary from this provision if approved by the Director.
Contract Day. 6.021 Definition of Work Day The teachers’ work week will be thirty-eight and three-quarter (38 ¾) hours, seven and three-quarter (7 ¾) hours per day. This does include an uninterrupted lunch period of at least one-half (1/2) hour each day.
Contract Day. 3. In regard to early dismissal days, except for the scheduled conference days, the work for certificated employees shall commence thirty (30) minutes before the scheduled student starting time and end thirty (30) minutes after the scheduled student dismissal time on that day.
Contract Day. This term will include those days which are spent teaching students, workdays, parent-teacher conferences and in-service days. Usually, this will be from Monday through Friday, unless there are those certified employees with supplemental duties that require other hours. If any unusual circumstances should arise, other than the aforementioned, the superintendent shall explain the situation prior to determination to the Board of Education. In the event the superintendent feels it is necessary for a Saturday meeting, the faculty will receive reasonable notification and will be compensated at their contract pay in half day increments by dividing their annual base salary by the number of contract days. Certified employees will be required to be present in their buildings before and after school each day for a total of forty-five (45) minutes. This time may be used for daily preparation, conferencing with parents, students or faculty, and for regularly scheduled staff meetings. Contract Day. Any day of the formally adopted academic calendar, including Summer Quarter. For the purpose of meeting deadlines expressed as contract days, Saturdays will not be included.
Contract Day. The contract day for all Professional Employees of the District shall be eight (8) hours in duration with the exception of parent/teacher conference weeks and other special circumstances. During the contract day, Professional Employees shall perform such duties as may be assigned to them by the Superintendent or his/her designated representative. Except in the event of an emergency, no Professional Employee shall be required to attend more than two (2) school activities or events beyond the times/days outlined in this professional agreement. The Principal/Supervisor shall advise Professional Employees of required attendance at a school event/activity outside the contract day at least six (6) weeks in advance of the event/activity.
