Continuous Service Date Sample Clauses
The Continuous Service Date clause defines the specific date from which an employee’s uninterrupted service with an employer is calculated. This date typically includes all periods of employment without a break, and may account for prior service if the employee was rehired within a certain timeframe. By establishing a clear starting point for calculating benefits such as seniority, vacation accrual, or eligibility for certain programs, this clause ensures consistency and fairness in recognizing an employee’s length of service.
