Continuous Production Clause Samples
The Continuous Production clause establishes the requirement for ongoing, uninterrupted production or operations throughout the term of an agreement. In practice, this clause may specify minimum activity levels, set timeframes for allowable pauses, or define what constitutes a lapse in production, such as a well not producing oil or gas for a certain period. Its core function is to prevent parties from holding rights or assets without actively utilizing them, thereby ensuring resources are efficiently developed and not left idle.
