Common use of Continuing Clause in Contracts

Continuing. a. Continuing contracts shall be issued in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code Section 3319.11 (see Appendix P). b. Such bargaining unit member is presumed to have accepted employment under such continuing contract unless he/she notifies the Board in writing to the contrary on or before the 1st day of June and a continuing contract shall be executed accordingly. c. When a member becomes eligible for a continuing contract during the term of a limited contract, with the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of Education may, upon written request of the member, interrupt the existing limited contract and grant a continuing contract.
