Continuing Tenure Clause Samples

The Continuing Tenure clause establishes the ongoing right of a party, typically a tenant or employee, to remain in possession of property or a position beyond an initial term. In practice, this clause may specify conditions under which the tenure is automatically extended, such as the absence of notice to terminate or fulfillment of certain obligations. Its core function is to provide stability and predictability by ensuring that the party’s rights do not abruptly end at the conclusion of the original term, thereby preventing uncertainty or disruption.
