Continuing Contract Notification. In order to be considered for a continuing contract, a teaching staff member, including a teaching staff member who is employed under a multi-year limited contract, must notify his/her building principal by October 15 that he/she has met or will meet by the end of the school year, the experience and training requirements to be eligible for a continuing contract. Failure to provide such notification shall result in the issuance of a limited contract for a teaching staff member whose contract is renewed or the continuation of the teaching staff member’s multi-year limited contract.
