Continue Agreement Clause Samples

The Continue Agreement clause ensures that the terms of an existing agreement remain in effect beyond a specific event or date, unless expressly terminated or replaced. In practice, this clause may apply when a contract is set to expire or undergoes a change in circumstances, such as a merger or assignment, but the parties wish to maintain their original obligations and rights until a new agreement is finalized. Its core function is to provide continuity and prevent gaps in contractual coverage, thereby reducing uncertainty and protecting the interests of both parties during transitional periods.
