Common use of Consumer Relations Clause in Contracts

Consumer Relations. Member representation in connection with any action which may be brought in the District Court against a manufacturer, distributor, service agency or retailer for defects in any merchandise, article or service or in a recovery on any warranty or guarantee whether implied or expressly given in connection with the sale of any merchandise, article or service, where such claim is in excess of $400. Personal injury claims as a result of such defects are specifically excluded.
