Common use of Consultative Work Clause in Contracts

Consultative Work. The Superintendent may undertake and engage in consultative work or academic teaching assignments for which he may receive outside compensation; provided, however, that such activities do not in any manner interfere with the performance of his duties under this Agreement, violate any of the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 268A or give the appearance of a conflict of interest. The Superintendent shall provide prior written notice to the Chair of the Committee before engaging in any consultative work.

The Superintendent Assistant Superintendent/Principal may undertake and engage in consultative work or academic teaching assignments for which he may receive outside compensation; provided, however, that such activities do not in any manner interfere with the performance of his ofhis duties under this Agreement, violate any of the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 268A ofMGL c. 268A, or give the appearance of a ofa conflict of interestofinterest. The Superintendent Assistant Superintendent/Principal shall provide prior written notice to the Chair Chairperson of the Committee and the Superintendent-Director before engaging in any consultative work.
