Common use of Construction Phase Clause in Contracts

Construction Phase. Developer shall not commence work for which a contractor is required to be licensed in accordance with Article 5 (commencing with Section 7065) of Chapter 9 of Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code and for which Division of the State Architect approval is required can be performed before receipt of the required Division of the State Architect approval.

Construction Phase. Developer shall not commence work Work for which a contractor contractor: (1) is required to be licensed in accordance with Article 5 (commencing with Section 7065) of Chapter 9 of Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code Code, and for which Division of the State Architect approval is required can be performed (2) before receipt of the required Division of the State Architect approval(“DSA”) approval for which DSA approval is required for Work to be performed.
