CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES Utility Coordination during Construction Sample Clauses

The "Utility Coordination during Construction" clause defines the responsibilities and procedures for managing interactions with utility providers throughout the construction phase of a project. It typically requires the contractor or project manager to identify, communicate with, and coordinate the activities of utility companies to prevent service disruptions, address relocations, or resolve conflicts with existing utility lines. For example, this may involve scheduling work around water, gas, or electrical lines and ensuring all necessary permits and notifications are handled. The core function of this clause is to minimize delays, avoid damage to utilities, and ensure smooth progress of construction by proactively managing utility-related issues.
