Common use of Construction; Enforceability Clause in Contracts

Construction; Enforceability. To the extent that any provision contained in this Article 3 may later be adjudicated by a court to be too broad to be enforced with respect to such provision’s scope, duration, area, line of business or any other matter, such area, line of business or other matter, as the case may be, shall automatically be amended to satisfy the terms of any court order so as to be valid and enforceable to the maximum extent compatible with the applicable laws of such jurisdiction and this Article 3 as drafted, however, such amendment is only to apply with respect to the operation of such provision in the applicable jurisdiction in which such adjudication is made.
