Common use of Construction Codes and Permits Clause in Contracts

Construction Codes and Permits. Grantee shall obtain all legally required permits before commencing any construction work the opening or disturbance of any Street within the Franchise Area, provided that such permit requirements are of general applicability and such permitting requirements are uniformly and consistently applied by the Grantor as to other public utility companies and other entities operating in the Franchise Area. The Grantor shall cooperate with the Grantee in granting any permits required, providing such grant and subsequent construction by the Grantee shall not unduly interfere with the use of such Streets.

Grantee shall obtain all legally required permits before commencing any construction work requiring a permit, including the opening or disturbance of any Street street, or public property or public easement within the Franchise Area, provided that such permit requirements are of general applicability and such permitting requirements are uniformly and consistently applied by the Grantor as to other public utility companies and other entities operating in the Franchise Areacommunity. The Grantor shall cooperate with the Grantee in granting any permits required, providing such grant and subsequent construction by the Grantee shall not unduly interfere with strictly adhere to all building and zoning codes currently or hereafter applicable to construction, operation or maintenance of the use of Cable System provided such Streetscodes apply to all other similarly situated entities.
