Consecutive holidays Clause Samples

The "Consecutive holidays" clause defines how contractual obligations are affected when multiple public holidays occur in succession. Typically, this clause specifies that if a deadline or required action falls on a series of consecutive holidays, the due date is automatically extended to the next business day. For example, if a payment is due during a period when banks are closed for several holidays in a row, the payment would instead be due after the holidays end. This clause ensures that parties are not penalized for delays caused by non-business days, providing clarity and fairness in the timing of contractual duties.
