Conflicts Prohibited. During the term of this Agreement, Employee shall not engage in any business or transaction or maintain a financial interest which conflicts, or reasonably might be expected to conflict, with the proper discharge of Employee’s duties under this Agreement. Employee shall comply with all requirements of law, including but not limited to, Sections 87100 et seq., Section 1090 and Section 1125 of the Government Code, and all other similar statutory and administrative rules.
Conflicts Prohibited. The general rule is that no persons described in paragraph (c) of this section who exercise or have exercised any functions or responsibilities with respect to CDBG activities assisted under this part, or who are in a position to participate in a decisionmaking process or gain inside information with regard to such activities, may obtain a financial interest or benefit from a CDBG-assisted activity, or have a financial interest in any contract, subcontract, or agreement with respect to a CDBG-assisted activity, or with respect to the proceeds of the CDBG-assisted activity, either for themselves or those with whom they have business or immediate family ties, during their tenure or for one year thereafter.
Conflicts Prohibited. The Company represents, warrants and -------------------- covenants that to the best of its knowledge no officer or employee of Investor has a direct or indirect economic interest in the Company or its property or contracts other than as disclosed in the SEC Reports, nor will any officer or employee of Investor receive, directly or indirectly, anything of substantial economic value for his or her private benefit from the Company or anyone acting on its behalf in connection with the investment made pursuant to this Agreement.

No persons described in paragraph (c) of this section who exercise or have exercised any functions or responsibilities with respect to activities assisted with HOME funds or who are in a position to participate in a decision making process or gain inside information with regard to these activities, may obtain a financial interest or benefit from a HOME-assisted activity, or have an interest in any contract, subcontract or agreement with respect thereto, or the proceeds thereunder, either for themselves or those with whom they have family or business ties, during their tenure or for one (1) year thereafter.

No persons described in paragraph (c) of this section who exercise or have exercised any functions or responsibilities with respect to activities assisted with CDBG Funds or who are in a position to participate in a decision making process or gain inside information with regard to these activities, may obtain a financial interest or benefit from a CDBG Funds assisted activity, or have an interest in any contract, subcontract or agreement with respect thereto, or the proceeds thereunder, either for themselves or those with whom they have family or business ties, during their tenure or for one year thereafter.

No person who exercises or has exercised any functions or responsibilities with respect to activities assisted under the Project, or who is in a position to participate in a decision-making process or gain inside information with regard to activities assisted under the Project, may obtain a financial interest or benefit from an assisted activity; have a financial interest in any contract, subcontract, or agreement with respect to an assisted activity; or have a financial interest in the proceeds derived from an assisted activity, either for him or herself or for those with whom he or she has immediate family or business ties, during his or her tenure or during the one-year period following his or her tenure.

No persons de- scribed in paragraph (c) of this section who exercise or have exercised any functions or responsibilities with re- spect to activities assisted with HTF funds or who are in a position to par- ticipate in a decision-making process or gain inside information with regard to these activities may obtain a xxxxx- cial interest or financial benefit from a HTF-assisted activity, or have a xxxxx- cial interest in any contract, sub- contract, or agreement with respect to the HTF-assisted activity, or the pro- ceeds from such activity, either for themselves or those with whom they have business or immediate family ties, during their tenure or for one year thereafter. During the term of this Agreement, Assistant General Manager shall not engage in any business or transaction or maintain a financial interest which conflicts, or reasonably might be expected to conflict in any manner, with the proper discharge of his or her duties under this Agreement. Assistant General Manager shall comply with all requirements of law, including but not limited to, Sections 87100 et seq., Section 1090 and Section 1125 of the Government Code, and all other similar statutory and administrative rules. Whenever any potential conflict arises or may appear to arise, the obligation shall be on Assistant General Manager to seek separate and independent legal advice concerning whether such conflict exists and Assistant General Manager’s obligations arising therefrom.

No persons described in paragraph (c) of this section who exercise or have exercised any functions or responsibilities with respect to activities assisted with HOME funds or who are in a position to participate in a decision-making process or gain inside information with regard to these activities may obtain a financial interest or financial benefit from a HOME-assisted activity, or have a financial interest in any contract, subcontract, or agreement with respect to the HOME-assisted activity, or the proceeds from such activity, either for themselves or those with whom they have business or immediate family ties, during their tenure or for one year thereafter. Immediate family ties include (whether by blood, marriage or adoption) the spouse, parent (including a stepparent), child (including a stepchild), brother, sister (including a stepbrother or stepsister), grandparent, grandchild, and in-laws of a covered person.
Conflicts Prohibited. No persons described in paragraph (c) of this section who exercise or have exercised any functions or responsibilities with respect to activities assisted with NSP3 funds or who are in a position to participate in a decision making process or gain inside information with regard to these activities, may obtain a financial interest or benefit from a NSP3-assisted activity, or have an interest in any contract, subcontract or agreement with respect thereto, or the proceeds thereunder either for themselves or those with whom they have family or business ties, during their tenure or for one year thereafter.
