Conduct of Business by CMFT. (a) CMFT covenants and agrees that during the Interim Period, except (1) to the extent required by applicable Law or (2) as may be consented to in advance in writing by CCIT III, CMFT and Merger Sub shall, and shall cause each of the other CMFT Subsidiaries to, use all reasonable efforts to maintain the status of CMFT as a REIT.
