Concurrent incomes. 1 If during the period when he is prevented from performing his work though incapacity due to illness or disability the employee performs work for himself or for third parties which is regarded by the occupational health care service or the UWV as desirable in the interests of his recovery or his reintegration or in the context of reassignment, the income from this work shall be deducted from the salary to which the employee is entitled by virtue of the first or second paragraph of Article 8.5.
