Concrete Construction Sample Clauses

The Concrete Construction clause defines the standards and requirements for all concrete-related work within a construction project. It typically outlines specifications for materials, mixing, placement, curing, and testing of concrete to ensure structural integrity and compliance with design documents. By setting clear expectations for workmanship and quality, this clause helps prevent disputes over construction methods and ensures the finished structure meets safety and durability standards.
Concrete Construction. CBC 1705.3
Concrete Construction. B9 Concrete Construction and Retrofit Change the passenger and cargo lifts’ door of 1F-3F, top floor surface with waterproof slope, elevator machine room with steel door. Additional Factory Facilities Room Used area of 172.5㎡(5m*34.5m), illumination intensity should be not less than 200lx Water chiller/air compressor/vacuum pump/process cooling water, the roof placed cooling towers request bearing 750KG/m2
Concrete Construction. See Table 1705.3 for detailed information regarding inspection. Major areas under steel construction are: 1. inspection of reinforcing steel, including prestressing tendons, and placement, 2. inspection of bolts to be installed in concrete prior to and during placement of concrete, 3. verification of use required design mix, 4. sampling of fresh concrete and performing slump, air content and fresh concrete temperature at time of making specimens for strength tests, 5. inspection of concrete and shotcrete placement for proper application techniques,
Concrete Construction. See Table 1704.4 for detailed information regarding inspection. Major areas under steel construction (see Section 1704.4) are: a. inspection of reinforcing steel, including prestressing tendons, and placement, b. inspection of bolts to be installed in concrete prior to and during placement of concrete, c. verification of use required design mix, d. sampling of fresh concrete and performing slump, air content and fresh concrete temperature at time of making specimens for strength tests, e. inspection of concrete and shortcrete placement for proper application techniques, f. inspection for maintenance of specified curing temperature and techniques, g. inspection of prestressed concrete including application of prestressing forces and grouting of bonded prestressing tendons, h. erection of precast concrete members, i. verification of in-situ concrete strength prior to stressing of tendons in post-tensioned concrete and prior to removal of shores and forms from beams and structural slabs.
Concrete Construction. Cement: Cement shall be 3,500 psi mix, with a minimum cement factor of 550 pounds.
Concrete Construction. Add the following: In some locations the pipeline to be replaced is located under various concrete improvements such as sidewalk, driveway, curb, gutter, etc. Contractor shall sawcut the existing concrete to be removed and replaced. Replacement of existing Portland cement concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, and driveway shall conform to City Standard Details ST 1 through 7.
Concrete Construction. VERIFICATION / INSPECTION 1. Reinforcing steel, including prestressing tendons, and placement 2. Reinforcing steel welding 3. Bolts installed in concrete 4. Required mix design 5. Fresh concrete sampling / testing 6. Placement of concrete and shotcrete
Concrete Construction. At this time, SCG does not know the contractor’s concrete pouring sequence or schedule. However, SCG anticipates approximately eight (8) periodic inspections of the reinforcing bars prior to the pours. SCG anticipates four (4) separate concrete pours for the structural concrete elements (footings and walls). The concrete pours require continuous inspections and concrete quality control testing. In total, another eight (8) is estimated to perform all concrete cylinder breaks and to provide the reports. The contractor shall provide SCG with a convenient and adequate staging and curing area for the concrete test cylinders. Compressive strength testing will be performed on the concrete cylinders. • SCG estimates another five (5) full days to perform the additional continuous inspections for the adhesive anchors, prestressed concrete and grouting as listed on sheet S1.0. • SCG scope and budget shall include attending the pre-construction meetings, periodic and continuous inspections, sampling the concrete, performing the compressive strength tests, and the completion of the compliance reports. • The suggested budget to complete this scope of work is $12,514.
