Comptroller Certificate Clause Samples
A Comptroller Certificate clause requires a company's comptroller or chief financial officer to formally certify certain financial information or compliance with specific obligations under an agreement. Typically, this involves the comptroller preparing and signing a document that confirms the accuracy of financial statements, compliance with covenants, or the fulfillment of other contractual requirements. By mandating such certification, the clause provides assurance to the other party that the company's financial representations are accurate and reliable, thereby reducing the risk of misrepresentation or non-compliance.
