Competence profiling. The Route Managing Director/Functional Director or nominated technical lead shall confirm that competence profiles are developed for each role within their organisation. Competence profiles shall contain details of the competence standards, competence statements and/or leadership behaviours that are applicable to the role. Competence profiles shall supplement each Job Description, form the basis for recruitment and selection and shall be used to identify individual training and assessment needs. When developing competence profiles line managers shall consider what competence mix is required within their teams to enable efficient operation.
