Compensatory Discretionary Leave Clause Samples
The Compensatory Discretionary Leave clause grants employees paid time off as compensation for extra hours worked beyond their regular schedule, at the employer's discretion. Typically, this leave is awarded when employees are required to work on holidays, weekends, or outside normal working hours, and the employer chooses to provide time off instead of overtime pay. The core function of this clause is to offer flexibility in compensating employees for additional work, ensuring fair treatment while allowing the employer to manage staffing and costs effectively.
