COMPASIONATE LEAVE Sample Clauses

COMPASIONATE LEAVE. Compassionate leave is available to full and part time employees when:  a member of the employee’s immediate family or household contracts or develops a personal illness or sustains a serious injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or  dies Up to two days paid compassionate leave may be taken on each permissible occasion. Employees requiring to take compassionate leave may be required to provide proof relating to the reason for the leave on each occasion.
