Common use of Coma Benefit Clause in Contracts

Coma Benefit. In the event of Bodily Injury being sustained by an Insured Person that results in the continuous unconscious state of the Insured Person, the Company will pay the Insured at their request £50 per day (or part day) of continuous unconsciousness, up to a maximum of 730 days. Any claim the Company pays under this extension is in addition to any amount paid under extension 12 - Hospitalisation.
