Cold allowance Clause Samples

A cold allowance clause provides for additional compensation or adjustments when work is performed under cold weather conditions. Typically, this clause specifies temperature thresholds or weather criteria that trigger the allowance, and outlines how the extra costs or time will be calculated and paid to workers or contractors. Its core practical function is to ensure fair treatment and safety for those working in challenging environments, while also allocating the financial impact of adverse weather between the parties.
