Common use of Coaching Certification Clause in Contracts

Coaching Certification. All coaches must meet coaching certification in accordance with the current “Games Team Technical Package”. i. Head and Assistant Coach(es) on the official registration form must be Competition Stream – Development Context (Certified status) under the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) in Softball no later than February 7, 2025. (no later than 180 days prior to the Opening Ceremony). Respect in Sport is also a mandatory Program that must be completed. ii. Manager - The Manager cannot be a base coach unless they are Competition-Development Certified in Softball under the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). Any Manager wishing to be a base coach during the competition must present their NCCP Competition-Development certification to the Technical Representative and Head Umpire at the Coach/Manager meeting prior to the start of competition.
